Choose Your Travel Companion – The Right Bag
The type of bag you take on your business trip can depend on a few different factors;
- The length of your business trip
- How fast you want to move through the airport
If you’re going for one or two days, you might want to consider a ‘hanger bag’. The advantage of this is you can keep several suits and shirts hung up to minimize creases. You would also need, a smaller carry-on bag to store smaller clothes items and personal items.
If your trip is over four days, you should consider a classic ‘suitcase’. Here you have many options in size, ranging from a small carry on suitcase that will allow you to avoid the queues to check-in or larger suitcases that will need to be checked in but have a load more space.
Pack Like A Pro
To become a savvy business traveller, you need to learn to only pack what you need and know what Apps will help make your time more efficient. For a shorter trip, you should easily be able to carry an outfit for each day, but if you plan to be away longer, you need to get creative with what you take.
For a seven day trip, consider taking three suits and shirts which you can interchange with each other to freshen up the look. Take a range of ties and more casual T-shirts, which can be worn under the suit for nights out and don’t take up too much room.
Make sure you pack relevant chargers for your phone and laptop and have a power adaptor for the country you’re travelling to. If you’re worried about wrinkled clothes, pack a small empty spray bottle. When you reach your hotel destination, hang up your clothes and lightly mist with water. Moisture will help your clothes flatten out and when dried, they should look as good as new.
